Pronunciation - talk shows

As you watch talk shows on TV, you learn quite a lot about celebrities from different English-speaking countries and their struggles with accents in both their personal and professional lives. You can also learn how they perceive their own pronunciation and what tricks they resort to to do impressions of other people.
I guess this may help you to change the perception of your own accent, and to see that learning an accent may be a challenge for everyone, but if you work a lot and channel your efforts in the right direction, you are very likely to succeed.

I've grouped a few interesting examples below from The Graham Norton Show. I hope they will motivate you a bit or, if not, at least put a smile on your face. Enjoy!

  2. Fabulous. Our students will doubtless enjoy watching these videos and improve their pronunciation by imitating their icons. Good fun :-)
Thanks for sharing. Will do the same on our social media.

    1. Thank you so much! Learning pronunciation is, in fact, pretty stressful to Polish students and that's why we should make sure to provide as many pron&fun-related bits as practical. :)
